Time Running Out for White Nights A'dam

The next White Nights Conference is just around the corner and will take place in Amsterdam for the first time on January 23-24, 2020.

The main reason to attend the event is an opportunity to meet decision-makers face-to-face. More than 1,500 game industry professionals - developers, publishers, investors, representatives of platforms and services - will get together in a brand new location.

White Nights has a developer program that gives teams an opportunity to demo their games to leading publishers, investors, future partners, industry visionaries and media. Participating teams will get a free mini-booth (up to 3 sq.m. with furniture and electricity), one free Indie Dev Pass and 15% off additional tickets if needed. To participate in the program teams must submit this form by January 2, 2020.

The conference program is available on the conference website.

IGDA Foundation Scholarships for GDC are Open

The IGDA Foundation is accepting applications for its IGDA Scholar, Velocity, and Next Gen Leader programs at GDC 2020 through November 29, 2019.

The IGDA Foundation focuses on improving the lives of game developers by making game development a more diverse and inclusive community. We believe that diversity of all kinds in game development leads to better and more successful products and companies, and happier and more successful game developers.

One of the best ways we work to achieve that is through our scholarship programs where we select participants both for their excellence as individuals and for the promotion of a more inclusive industry.

Each GDC 2020 program includes a Conference + Summits GDC pass (thanks to the generosity of UBM Tech Media), as well as a travel stipend and a variety of program specific experiences.

For more information about these programs visit the IGDA Foundation.
