The jam will run from 18.3 - 21.3 where students from a dozen different schools come together to jam and after the jam as a tradition on fridays, we have an afterparty streamer who plays through every game made by the students! Come join us for a watchparty and showcase of the Finnish College Jam #6 games!

At the event, there will also be a few PC:s where we will download most of the games made for the jam so you can try them yourself or watch the afterparty stream play them!

Neatly Production is a team of three individuals, each hailing from diverse professional backgrounds, united by a shared passion for the gaming industry. Currently, they are developing a virtual reality (VR) game, Punch A Plant!

One Trick Entertainment, the game studio behind LEMPO, is redefining the indie scene and celebrating the golden age of gaming.

Estève Pannetier is a seasoned team-leader and game strategist who has consulted and coached developers in Ubisoft, Supercell and a number of independent gaming companies to help teams tap into the collective intelligence of flow. In this session you’ll learn rules of thumb on how to understand, measure and communicate about flow, both in designing and releasing games. Bring your notepads and questions to get the most out of this session!

Summer is slowly shifting to fall, but there is still time to enjoy the last days of the Summer season! Come join us for a chill barbeque evening full of good vibes at Pikku-Vesijärvi on 25.8! This time there is no specific program but there will be music (and possibly chance to sing karaoke 🎤) and some outdoor games. 😎

The grilling location is near Kioski Pikkuvesku (Event address Kariniemenpuistotie 12, points to it). There is some parking place near the kiosk.

IGDA Lahti will provide some sausages and you are welcome to bring your own food to grill and your own drinks!

Maxine is wheelchair accessible! There are a few steps at the entrance, for that please ask security at the cloakroom for an incline.

Join us for the IGDA Porvoo River Cruise Bonanza 20th of July 2023!

Event will be held as a private event onboard the MS Suvituuli (FriendShip Cruises). It will be a 2-hour charter cruise with a maximum capacity of 70, with 50 spots inside the ship and 20 on the top deck.

The ship arrives at the dock at Itäinen Rantakatu 3, Porvoo around 17:30 and boarding will be approximately 17:45-17:50 and the cruise will leave at 18:00 sharp and return to the dock at 20:00, so be early!

The event itself can easily be visited by bus from either Helsinki or Kotka!

Edit: Afterparty will be held at the brand new Porvoo Game Club associations club house (which is also the future IGDA Porvoo meetup space)! Afterparty will include some drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and pizza! Porvoo Game Club is located near the city center (Aleksanterinkatu 22, 06100 Porvoo, there is a staircase downstairs into the clubhouse by the road)

Come join us at Pikku-Vesijärvi on July 14th (14.7), when we fire up the grill to serve you the most exquisite culinary food you can find; roiskeläppä.😎🍕

Yes, you read that right! Besides the very excellent roiskeläppä serving, during the evening you can hear about a new game studio established in Lahti, Paahtimo Games and get a change to play Latchback Games Break the Beyond mobile game!

Event begins at 17:00 and estimed time for grilling to start is around 17:30.

You are free to bring your own food to grill, IGDA Lahti will provide roiskeläppä's and some soft drinks!
