The 2021 IGDA Developer Satisfaction Survey

We need YOU to fill out the Developer Satisfaction Survey! This study is about the composition and work experiences of people who work in the game industry because you do work or engage in study that is game-related. Anyone who is involved in the game industry may take part in this survey, including academics and students, contractors, the self-employed, indies, journalists, hobbyists, streamers, eSports, etc.

The results of this survey are used for various reports and cited by others in their studies. Having as many creators included from as many backgrounds and experiences as possible helps us make sure we're representing the global game development community as best we can.

We in Games Finland and IGDA Finland have set out to find out your personal experiences within the game industry with the help of this survey. Our aim is to make the industry as welcoming and inclusive as possible. We know that there are many people who have experienced many different things working in the Finnish game industry, both positive and negative, but without hard data, it is impossible for us to know where to begin. This data will be used to help us understand what people feel needs to change and will hopefully give us insight into how people see the current state of our industry.
