Sulka Haro is a veteran game designer and the Lead Designer of The Walking Dead: Our World. His 18-year experience in the games industry includes producing The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, leading design at Habbo Hotel as well as founding MakieLab, a 3D printed toys and games startup.

Matias has been developing commercial software since the age of 10, including tens of games and in various roles. He got completely absorbed in the gaming industry 4 years ago. As Director of Technology at Next Games he has been deeply involved with the efforts required to create probably the biggest non-generative game environment in existence.
How We Gather, Use and Lose Data - On data architecture, selected results, and data retention
18:30–19:00, Jörkki Hyvönen & Vesa Palonen
As the Head of Analytics, Jörkki has been responsible of building both the company data platform and the team using it. Before joining the gaming industry, Jörkki has done things ranging from low temperature physics to biological neural network modeling and AI consulting. Most of his past activities have been characterised by big data, startups and endless curiosity towards understanding and modeling human behaviour
Vesa is a bit of a happy generalist. After doing a decade of data-analysis in physics, accelerators and related databases, he joined the Next Games crew and is now a senior game analyst of The Walking Dead: Our World. In an environment full of interesting questions, he likes to select what is important and emphasize that. On top of giving visibility to basic game numbers, this has lead to analytics on quality of service, player motivation and playtime, and social features.
