Xmas Xtravangza was Xcellent! :)

With special guest DJ Joonas Mäntynen (certainly welcome back anytime :D) rockin the house with retro-game styled music and Mr.Goodliving's newly released Bad Air Day driving the humor and big laughs IGDA Finland's Xmas Xstravaganza was certainly a night to remember and a perfect way to finish off a great year. Mr.Goodliving would personally like to thank everyone for coming – visitors, gamers and the IGDA from the bottom of their heart.

In case you were interested just who won the iPod Touch Mr.Goodliving gave away as a prize for the best score playing Bad Air Day the winner was Sini Haapanen who scored 61,676 points which was by far more than anyone else – including the Mr.Goodliving guys. Nice going Sini, now you can tell your family and all your friends that you are the world's best at Bad Air. :D

A night highlighted by the release of Bad Air Day also featured special drinks, T-shirts and snacks provided by Mr.Goodliving as well as many rockin out in the Lipshack.

All in all 163 people enjoyed the Xmas bash many of whom were from our affiliate studios such as Digital Chocolate, Remedy, Tribe Studios (IGDA Finland's new Studio Affiliate!), Redlynx, Sulake, Recoil.

Thanks again everyone for attending and making the IGDA Finland one of best international game organizations on the planet!

Xmas Xtravaganza Just Around the Corner!

This is big! The Xmas Xtravaganza is quickly approaching.  As mentioned before Mr.Goodliving will be joining us for our Dec. Xtravaganza  as they roll out their new iPhone game "Bad Air Day." The high score competition will feature a iPod Touch as the grand prize with 50 shirts being given away throughout the night. On top of that Mr.Goodliving will have a guest DJ and is generously providing sweet and salty snacks and sponsoring some special drinks. Oh and there will be plenty of iPods and iPads for everyone to play.

Mark it on your calender, put a post-it note on your computer, tell all your friends, just don't forget, Dec. 7th 19:00 IGDA Finland and Mr.Goodliving will be bringing down the house at Cuba Bar!

This just in! IGDA Finland's X-mas party (pikkujoulu) is now set for Dec.   7th @ 19:00 at Cuba and boy will this be special. Mr.Goodliving will be helping us celebrate this year's event as they roll out a new iPhone game titled "Bad Air Day." There will be a high score competition, and the Lipshack will be open for those prima donnas out there. Snacks, special drinks will be  also be provided by Mr.Goodliving and "Bad Air Day" T-shirts will be given away either for those lucky enough to arrive early or prizes for those who excel at "Bad Air." :)

So from everyone here at the IGDA we hope you come out and celebrate what is sure to  be a extremely fun and memorable event.
