W ♥ Games is one-day-conference in Helsinki that focuses on women in games and tech development. “W” stands for women but also for “we” as we people, we who play and make games, we of all backgrounds and interests that games bring together and make all differences disappear!
This year, conference will take place on the 15th of November at NewCo Helsinki premises, event is FREE of charge but limited to 150 participants so make sure to get your pass!
There are no dedicated games leadership conferences in Europe... so IGDA Finland decided to make one! Leadership Day by IGDA Finland, September 30th, 2019 in Helsinki, is an international event about how we build companies, teams and working cultures to build better games.
Games companies, their inner workings and cultures are some of the least documented aspects of game development. Yet we and our work are all defined by these choices every single day. Join us in learning and challenging the cutting edge of leadership in games from some of the brightest minds in the industry!
Like all things IGDA Finland, the conference is non-profit and made possible by our volunteers and partners.
This one day event is designed around a thought provoking speaker track and ample room for networking with industry peers. We will be organising an IGDA Mentorship Cafe to help you grow your professional network and to finish it all off we’ll be throwing an evening party right next to the venue.
In cooperation with Women in Games Finland, there will be free daycare for children of conference attendees on-site, sponsored by Secret Exit Ltd.
